Republicans Are Determined to Strip Health Care From Millions
The Republican Party is determined to undo Barack Obama’s legacy and to undermine his singular achievement of securing health care for millions of previously uninsured Americans. The GOP’s mission to destroy the ACA defies common sense, compassion, and basic decency. Under their proposals—the latest of which is Graham-Cassidy—millions of people will lose coverage, and the most vulnerable among us will take the hardest hit.
Graham-Cassidy bill would let states allow insurance companies to deny prenatal & mental health care. We can’t call this a health care bill.
Jimmy Kimmel has become an important voice in the fight against Graham-Cassidy:

If universal health care is our goal – and it should be – the best and most ethical course of action, taking all factors into consideration, is to improve the ACA (Obamacare). Otherwise, countless people will suffer immeasurably and needlessly.
No one should ever be penalized for getting sick, for being a woman, for being born with a rare condition. This could happen under Trumpcare

The bill would take funding from governments facing public-health crises to provide a short-term boon to a smaller number of states that have refused to expand Medicaid.
Like Other ACA Repeal Bills, Cassidy-Graham Plan Would Add Millions to Uninsured, Destabilize Individual Market
In releasing a revised version of their legislation to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act (ACA), Senators Bill Cassidy and Lindsey Graham, along with co-sponsors Dean Heller and Ron Johnson, claimed that their bill isn’t a “partisan” approach and doesn’t include “draconian cuts.”

Under this bill, pregnancy will cost you an extra 17K. Metastatic cancer 172K. Autism 5K. Asthma 4K. This isn’t a healthcare bill.

I’ve covered the GOP repeal plans since day one. Graham-Cassidy is by far the most radical. https://t.co/V8WXsHJ2cB
HHS Secretary should be ashamed. He wants to take healthcare away from tens of millions but takes chartered planes. https://t.co/ENf6ep0xwE
Opposed to Graham-Cassidy: doctors, nurses, hospitals, insurers, the AARP, + a bipartisan group of governors, House members, and Senators.
